Application examples
Surface inspection of battery cells using LINESPECT®
The system concept enables the testing of painted surfaces of battery cells:
- Zero-defect-production with 0 % slippage
- Detection of surface defects in the range of 1 mm diameter and 50 µm height/depth
- Cycle times in the range of one second with minimal pseudo error rates of up to 0.1%
- Highest productivity thanks to an inspection speed of 230 mm/s and a cell spacing of 70 mm
- Inspection in continuous operation without stopping the cells
Testing of castings using LINESPECT®
The innovative multi-testing system takes the fully automatic quality testing of cast parts to a new level:
- LINESPECT® tests four bevel gears in parallel for impact points at the top and bottom, pluggability and hardness.
- 3D inspection heads create 360° images of the top and bottom sides.
- Laser marking including complete documentation of the test results.

Testing of forged parts using LINESPECT®
The forged parts are fully inspected and classified on all surfaces with a unique cycle time:
- Inspection of connecting rods at a cycle time of less than 3 seconds
